Building Completion Certificate

Documents Required

    1. Building Completion Certificate Request (In case of applying through customer service center)
  • Inspection for Completion
    1. Copy of Civil Defense Certificate
    2. Approved Traffic Impact study
    3. Compliance Certificate from main consultant
    4. Approval of Sewerage connections
    5. NOC from owner to issue Completion Certificate
    6. Contractor’s clarification letter for issued comments point by point (applicable for all re-submissions)
    Clearance of Undertaking Letter
    • Contractor’s clarification letter for issued comments point by point
      • Note:
      • The below prerequisites should be obtained before request for Building Completion Certificate:
      • Approval of Structural Completion Inspection (Form No. ZA-DC-F-74)
      • Approval of Final Land-Demarcation (Form No. ZA-MP-F-11)
      •  Accepted Third Party Building Survey Report by DDA (Form No. ZA-DC-F-99) (Excluding Villas)
      • Approved drawings by DDA must be available at site

    Fees

    • Pre-inspection for Completion Certificate: AED 7,500
    • 1st,  2nd and 3rd  request of Completion Certificate: None
    • 4th request of Completion Certificate onwards:  AED 10,000
An additional fees of AED 10 as “Knowledge Dirham” and AED 10 as “Innovation Dirham” is applicable per transaction.

  • Process Duration: 7 working days

Clearance of Undertaking Letter

  • Process Duration: 10 working days

 

Important Notes: Any legal documents consisting of more than one page must be sealed. The Power of Attorney shall clearly set out the delegated powers and needs to be accompanied with a valid passport copy of the Attorney-in-fact when presented to the Authority. The Authority reserves the right to request for any additional documents or attestations by the UAE embassy or other embassies or government entities it may require, as and when necessary. Board Resolution and/or Power of Attorney is required from the Manager: this should state the Manager's full name, nationality and passport number. The legal documents must be in English and /or Arabic. Documents prepared in any other language other than English or Arabic must be legally and officially translated.
