Description This service enables the customer to apply for modification on the approved design, including but not limited to: changing the number of parking, elevation design and structural drawing without affecting the entire building structure

  • For Preliminary: 4 Working Days
  • For Final, Building Modification, Temporary Construction, Maintenance & Demolition: 5 Working Days
  • For Fit-out & Sub-structure: 3 Working Days
Service Fees

Design Revision Fees Prior to obtaining Final Building Permit for Piling, Shoring, Excavation, Sub-structure and Temporary construction:
AED 1,000

Design Revision Fees After obtaining Final Building Permit:

For Building Modification:
AED 1,000 + AED 1.0 ft2 (for any additional modified area) if approved

For Maintenance:
AED 1,000

For Fit-Out Permit:
AED 1,000 + AED 0.9 per ft2 (for any additional modified area) if approved

For Demolition:
AED 1,000 + AED 1000 per floor (for any additional floor, if approved)

An additional fee of AED 10 as “Knowledge Dirham” and AED 10 as “Innovation Dirham” is applicable per transaction
Required Documents For Preliminary
  • Approved and proposed drawings (as per Circular no. 400) highlighting the changes
For Final, Sub-structure, Building Modification or Maintenance
  • Approved stamped drawings and proposed drawings (as per Circular no. 400) highlighting the changes (Architectural, Structural and Mechanical)
  • Structural calculations and model (applicable for Structural revisions)
  • NOC from relevant local Authority (if applicable)
For Fit-out For Temporary Construction
  • Approved and proposed drawings (as per Circular no. 400) highlighting the changes
  • NOC from relevant local Authority (if applicable)
For Demolition
  • NOC from relevant local Authority (if applicable)
Notes
  • Site Plan must be valid at the time of submission
  • An approved concept design does not exempt the consultant from adhering to Mechanical and Structural requirements in subsequent design stages
