Preliminary Design Approval

• Customer Service Centre:

     Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

     Friday from 7:30 am to 12 pm.

• New Submission: AED 0.02 per ft2 on total Built up area.
  Minimum AED 200 & Maximum AED 10,000
  Paid Fee will be deducted in Final Building Permit
• Renewal: AED 2,000 per year
  (Maximum Renewal: 2 years)

• Preliminary Design approval request (In case of applying through customer service center)
• Preliminary Architectural Design drawings (as per Circular No. 400)
• Consultant appointment letter from the Owner

• Site Plan must be valid at the time of submission
• The approved design is valid for 1 year
• Design must comply with Accessibility Code for the Built Environment in the Clusters
• Gate level confirmation from Master Developer / Infrastructure Consultant / RTA must be submitted before starting work at site
• An approved concept design does not exempt the consultant from adhering to Mechanical and Structural requirements in subsequent design stages
• Releasing the Preliminary Design Drawings to register a project in Dubai Land Department with a fee of AED 2,000 in addition to fee of AED 10 as “Knowledge Dirham” and AED 10 as “Innovation Dirham” is applicable per transaction
