Description This service enables the customer to submit for re-design of building during design/construction stage in case of major changes such as additional floors, land use change, unit type or major changes in the structural design and structural system.

     Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

     Friday from 7:30 am to 12 pm.
Estimated Time to Deliver
  • For Preliminary: 4 Working Days
  • For Final: 5 Working Days
  • For Sub-structure: 3 Working Days
Service Fees
  • For Re-Design Preliminary: AED 0.05 per ft2 (on total relevant built-up area)
  • For Re-Design Final/ Sub-structure: AED 0.1 per ft2 (on total relevant built-up area)
An additional fee of AED 10 as “Knowledge Dirham” and AED 10 as “Innovation Dirham” is applicable per transaction
Required Documents For Preliminary
  • Approved and proposed drawings (as per Circular no. 400)
  • NOC from relevant local Authority (if applicable)
    • For Final/ Sub-structure
  • Approved stamped drawings and proposed drawings (as per Circular no. 400) (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical)
  • Structural calculations and model (applicable for Structural re-design)
  • NOC from relevant local Authority (if applicable)

    Notes
    • The approved design is valid for 1 year
    • Site Plan must be valid at the time of submission
    • An approved concept design does not exempt the consultant from adhering to Mechanical and Structural requirements in subsequent design stages
    • In case re-design is submitted after obtaining final building permit, building permit fee apply for any additional built-up area (If Approved)

    • Complete the application
    • Upload the required documents
    • Submit the application
